Hi! I’m Tammy Battistessa, owner and lead designer of Ellaire Kitchen and Bath Design.
After years of moving my husband around and endless renovation projects, I wanted to take the skills that I learned and the passion that I had for creating beautiful spaces and apply them to help other people create comfortable, stunning homes that best support their needs. So I retired from my successful career in data analysis and IT project management and went back to school to study my true love: kitchen and bath design.
After receiving my certification as a Kitchen and Bath Designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association, I founded Ellaire and began working with people, just like you, to bring their home remodel or custom new build projects to life. In addition to my kitchen and bath certification, I’m also a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, allowing me to create beautiful spaces that are safe and comfortable for individuals of any age and ability.
I believe all projects are unique, which is why I work so hard to get to know my clients, understand their design preferences, and deliver a design that supports their lifestyle — in both form and function.
You should expect both creativity and a strategic process from your kitchen and bath designer. My approach is heavily influenced by my previous project management experience, and my clients feel confident knowing that we’re working through a thorough process to ensure they love the end result. Of course you expect a great design outcome, but you deserve a smooth and professional experience as well.
As I was born and raised in Northern California, I love using natural and organic elements in the spaces I create. And with the beautiful backdrop of the Lake Tahoe region as inspiration, I enjoy finding unique ways to connect the interior design projects I work on with the beauty of the great outdoors.
